Amazing tamales 100/10 very authentic. They are also promoting tortillas by hand . Y'all need to go get some tamales. I had tamales de rajas , verdes de pollo . You need to go early they do sell out quick but I am definitely going back and try the other ones!

I love a good Tamale, so Google search provided. I googled best Tamales near me and La Cosecha did not disappoint. I tried the pork , chicken and poblano, were all fantastic.

La Cosecha serves some of the best tamales you will find in Chicagoland. Truly exceptional. The size and texture are spot on, and the masa is perfectly flavored and balanced. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, almost like it just came out of a bakery kitchen. The meat is always seasoned just right, tender, rich, and never overpowering. The jalapeño cream cheese popper tamales are such a creative twist and absolutely worth trying. The queso rojas are my personal favorite. Their Easter tamales are among the best in the area. If you are nearby, do yourself a favor and check them out, but order ahead. They sell out quickly and often. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating, which makes the experience even better. La Cosecha also holds a special place in my heart. I have seen firsthand how they give back to the community in quiet, humble ways. It is not just great food. It is a business rooted in care and integrity. Highly recommend.

What a hidden gem, if it wasn't for your billboard, I would have never known! The tamales are really good. It all depends on what they have, that day. I was lucky to go when they had green chile chicken ones, they are very tasty. I wish they were spicier though, but not complaining. Very good and stuffed very well. The sugar tortillas were so yummy! I can't wait to come back.

I came on a Saturday afternoon for tamales. There are four types of tamales on the menu, but only two were available. I recommend ordering tamales ahead of time so that you get the type that you want. The tamales are very cheap, had a lot of filling, and the pork tamale was the best one I have had in Illinois. Tortillas are available for purchase on weekends. The pork and poblano-cheese tamales were excellent (but you need to buy the salsa separately). If I were in the area, I would go back and try the green chicken tamale. I also enjoyed the buñuelos sample and a tortilla sample while I was waiting for the tamales. This is a take-out facility.
